Building “Simple” is divided into 17 apartments on 5 floors. The ground floor apartments all have individual landscaped courtyards, which serve as small private gardens. Top floor apartments are designed with large spacious rooms and all have terraces that open up to beautiful nature views.

The vision for this project is meant to emphasize the unique elements of the building, as the white facade creates a feeling of purity and elegance. The railing detail is made of long, freestanding vertical elements that are not connected with a handle, to allow for airiness and a minimalist radiance to each terrace. The perforated decorative elements on the facade are an additional element that create a different reading and feeling to the building. They refract sunlight in different time frames of the day at different angles, creating a geometric shapes pattern on the walls of the terraces and inside of apartments in some cases. At night on the other hand, the opposite effect is observed - as the light is emitted from the inside out, it creates a dynamic variety of shadows emitting from each apartment or terrace.
