ZOGRAFF
Elegant building with mixed functionality
Located on a corner property in the newly urbanized part of Lyulin, the mixed use project Zograf has street access on two of its sides.
Zograf will feature seven floors, a total of 2185 square meters, with the bottommost and ground floor being parking garages. The second floor is composed of three office spaces and one apartment, while the rest of the building is composed of a variety of layouts and sizes of apartments to serve all types of clientele.
The building design features a unique series of angled ceramic plates by LAMINAM that direct and refract natural light in different directions as sunlight passes through. The use of these ceramic plates creates a distinct look to the building as they are hydrophilic and gather an elegant layer of water which washes away dirt and forms oxygen molecules which in contact with pollutants turns them into harmless materials.
Each floor on the facade is separated from the next through a sharp floor plate which emphasizes the horizontality of the building and allows for each floor to end with a large balcony serving every unit in the building. Additionally, lights are placed on each of these exterior floor panels as well as the ceiling of every balcony to further highlight this horizontality during the night.
