Residential complex
Located in the Buxton district, the new residential complex BRIGHT HOME 2 consists of two four-story buildings, which combine sustainable and ecological design with comfortable and modern living. The materials used on the facades of the buildings provide not only added elegance but also enhance the buildings energy efficiency.
The green spaces and gardens around the buildings provide residents with a unique opportunity for relaxation and rest in the midst of urban life. The spaces are designed not only to be aesthetic but to add to the ecological development of the property as plenty of trees, bushes and grass fields are included to help further the connection of residents with nature. These spaces are also meant as common spaces where residents can interact with each other and socialize, fostering a new and connected community.
BRIGHT HOME 2 is entirely designed for residential needs, consisting of four above-ground floors and an underground parking garage that connects the two buildings. It comprises a total of 28 functional apartments, tailored to all the needs of future owners. An additional element of the building that not only adds to the aesthetic of the projects but also serves as an added amenity for residents are the large rooftop areas filled with greenery and seating areas. These terraces are a new way to help foster relationships between residents and allow for a lot of social interaction that we don’t find often in apartment complexes in Sofia.
The volumetric solution of the building follows a regular geometric shape with a vernacular composition of the exterior envelope which contributes to the overall appearance of the area. The vision for this building was to create a minimalistic and contemporary solution to multifamily housing without disturbing the surrounding environment. Each detail of both the exterior and interior of this project was specifically designed for residents to experience the comfort and coziness of contemporary living.
